In-demand Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez will not end up at Liverpool.

Recent reports have suggested that the Reds have been ruled out by the Argentine who is a wanted man in the Premier League.

Tevez's two-year loan deal with United is over and although the club has first option to sign him, he has shown interest in a move elsewhere.

Manchester City have made a major play and new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has spoken personally to Tevez, indicating those two clubs are leading the race as it seems that Liverpool is definitely not an option.
