Carlos Tevez will not be rushing back to Manchester City.
After their 0-0 draw with Liverpool, City boss Roberto Mancini insisted afterwards he wants Tevez to return from Argentina this week, where he has been since the premature arrival of his baby daughter a week ago.
Mancini said: "I want Carlos to come back now. We need him here. I don't know where he is, but I want him to return."
However, the Daily Mail says sources close to Tevez insisted the striker will not return until doctors give his baby the all-clear.
A friend of Tevez and his partner Vanesa said last night: "Carlos wants to come back, but his priority must be the health of his baby."
