Carlos Tevez has denied claims that he was set to leave Juventus if Roberto Mancini was to be appointed as the clubs new manager recently.
The former Manchester City boss was being linked with the Bianconeri vacancy following Antonio Conte's departure last week with some reports suggesting that Tevez had threatened to quit if that particular move occurred.
Former AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has since been installed as the new boss of the Turin giants but Tevez has made it clear that he never thought about leaving even if Mancini had been installed.
"I have never spoke with (Juventus CEO Giuseppe) Marotta about this," Tevez, who did not see eye-to-eye with Mancini at City, said at a press conference.
"The club is based on respect and I doubt the thoughts of a player could change anything. Those who write these stories should have more respect.
"I have never thought to leave - I've signed for three years and I want to end my contract here, staying with my teammates."
