Carlos Tevez is nearing a Manchester City exit after expressing his disappointment following a season with no silverware.
The Argentine international is currently focused on next month's World Cup but has hinted that he wants to return to Boca Juniors and could do so this summer.
"My idea is to one day leave Manchester City and to play in Boca Juniors," he said in an interview with Fox Sports and Argentinean radio.
"My season personally was good in England but I did not win any titles and that is disappointing.
"For me, this year was special. My challenge was to be consistent and arrive at the World Cup in perfect condition.
"I am convinced that South Africa will be my World Cup. I am now determined to put in the maximum effort and fight for my place in the starting XI for Argentina.
"Argentina are well prepared to be World Cup champions. There is no-one I would rather play for. When I play for Argentina, I play for the shirt and never the money."
