Tevez: Man Utd move has wrecked my golf handicap

Carlos Tevez says there's one downside to his move to Manchester United - his golf handicap is suffering!

"All of these games mean that I am out of practice on the golf course," he says with a wide grin. "I had more time to play golf at West Ham. It is a game that needs hard work and regular practice to improve."

There is a similar desire when he considers his future with United.

Currently, this brilliant Argentina international is a little over three months into a two-year loan move that could result in an expensive bill for the American owners of the English champions: not much change from £35million.

"I am so happy to be at Manchester United," he says.

"It is a magnificent football club, a grand club. I feel lucky to have this opportunity. I really do not want to miss this chance and I can say now that I want to stay in Manchester for all of my career. Or most of my career, at least.

"I must improve on my game for this to happen and to keep working and learning."
