Tevez to drop appeal against fine to smooth Man City return
Carlos Tevez is ready to drop his appeal against a Manchester City fine to smooth his return.
The Telegraph says Tévez is ready to drop his appeal to the Premier League over a £1.2m fine for gross misconduct at Manchester City as he prepares to end his three-month absence by returning to the club this week.
The Argentine forward is understood to be preparing to return to Manchester on Tuesday after being absent without Manchester City's permission since flying to Buenos Aires on Nov 7.
And with the 27 year-old determined to clear all obstacles between himself and a playing return at the Etihad Stadium, Tévez has discussed with his advisers the possibility to abort an appeal to the Premier League over the fine of six weeks’ wages which was imposed following a disciplinary hearing at the club on Dec 22.
