Juventus striker Carlos Tevez denies warning the club off former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini. It's claimed Tevez urged GM Beppe Marotta to ignore the credentials of Mancini after the departure of Antonio Conte. Massimiliano Allegri has since been appointed as coach.
Marotta said: "I've never spoken to Marotta about this. The club is based on respect and I doubt the thoughts of a player could change anything. Those who write these stories should have more respect.
"I didn't know Allegri as a Coach, but I think we are working well now. We know the Juventini loved Conte, but we have to focus on training to prepare for Serie A and the Champions League.
"What shape am I in now? I'm 8kg heavier! I'm fine and once all my teammates return we can start to really get this season into focus."
