Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez insists they're well positioned.
Pressure has been heaped on manager Mark Hughes after defeat at Tottenham in midweek.
But Tevez told the Daily Mail: "We have not started so badly. Every Premier League team will say they can improve and we are the same.
"The team are in transition, with lots of new players settling in. We have injuries, but we must overcome this and advance.
"This will not happen straight away. I will give the team and Mark 100 per cent. Mark told me when I was speaking to him in the summer that this would take time and so I'm not surprised."
