Carlos Tevez is expected to make a decision over his Manchester City future while in Argentina.
The Guardian says Tevez is keen to return to Argentina as soon as possible so he can see his young daughters, Florencia and Katia, who live in Buenos Aires with his former partner Vanessa.
He also wants to discuss his future with the family and, specifically, find out whether his former partner might be tempted to move their children to Spain or Italy if he were to be transferred there. She speaks only Spanish and did not embrace life in England.
City manager Roberto Mancini has stated categorically that Tevez has told the club there is no longer a decision to be made and that he will definitely be staying in Manchester next season.
However, those comments have surprised even the City hierarchy and differ greatly from Tevez's version of events. The former Manchester United and West Ham United player continues to make it clear he is keen to explore whether a move to Real Madrid or Internazionale can be arranged.
