The striker made a low-key return for Manchester City this afternoon - lasting just 45 minutes in a behind-closed doors reserves clash with Preston.

An eyewitness told The Sun: "He played without breaking sweat and didn't look very special at all.

"He didn't stand out and there were no flashes of class. He looked way off being ready for the Premier League."
