Carlos Tevez's agents are set to enter crisis talks with Manchester City today.
The People says Tevez, 27, remains desperate to return to South America so he can be closer to his wife and kids.
He was disappointed when his proposed move to Corinthians collapsed. The transfer window has closed in Brazil now, but sources there insist the deal is not off and could still be struck for him to take a break and then join them in January.
A lawyer is also flying into Manchester with agent Kia Joorabchian as they attempt to work out what happens next with Tevez.
Inter Milan are still waiting to pounce, despite the fact Tevez is adamant he does not want to play in Europe.
