Chelsea captain John Terry is on the road to recovery from the knee injury which has sidelined him since November 11.
The centre-back played 45 minutes for the Blues U21 side against Fulham on Thursday night and if he gets through unscathed, could be a chance to be included in the squad for the trip to Stoke City on Saturday.
Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez said earlier this week that he will wait and see how Terry pulls up from tonight's hitout before making a decision on the 32-year old who sustained the injury against Liverpool in a collision with Luis Suarez.
