Terry open to new Chelsea deal

Chelsea captain John Terry admits he would be open to signing a new contract with the club.

The 32-year old defender, who has been at Stamford Bridge his entire career, is out of contract next summer but suggested he would sit down with the club in order to nut out a new deal.

"I've got a year left at Chelsea after this. People have not spoken about a new contract and this kind of thing, but it's not even on the agenda at the moment," he said.

"They may sit down with me once the season has finished and we'll start talking then. Whether it's a yes or a no, I'll continue to give my very best until my contract finishes."
