Chelsea captain John Terry moved to mend fences with the club's away support after victory at Wolves yesterday.
The Mail on Sunday says Terry turned nice guy on Saturday - by giving the club's fans the shirt off his back.
Terry's gesture was in response to criticism from supporters who claimed Chelsea's players had failed to acknowledge their support after the defeat at Everton 10 days ago.
The fans were delighted when, after the 2-0 win at Wolves that took Chelsea four points clear at the top of the Premier League, Terry led his victorious players over to the visiting fans and threw his shirt and captain's armband and boots into the crowd.
The gesture also revealed that Terry's vest carried the message 'Get well soon, Bulldog', directed at Stamford Bridge staff member Frank Steer, who is recovering from a heart bypass operation.
