Terry fit and firing insists England's Hart

John Terry trained fully for England on Thursday, indicating that he is ready for their Euro2012 opener on Monday.

The Three Lions face France in Donetsk in their first Group D fixture and it has been confirmed that Chelsea centre-back Terry will be fit despite injuring his hamstring in last weekend's friendly win over Belgium.

"Yeah, he was fine. Flying around like he usually does. He didn't seem to be holding back," said goalkeeper Joe Hart to Sky Sports News.

And the Manchester City gloveman is expecting Terry to be partnered by his club teammate Joleon Lescott in central defence.

"I thought Joleon played outstanding (against Belgium). I thought he worked really well with John Terry," Hart added.

"Obviously John came off in that game with a bit to go and Jags (Phil Jagielka ) came on and did great as well. There's plenty of depth in the squad.

"The partnership between Joleon and Terry worked straight away. Obviously JT prefers to play that left side, but being right-footed and playing on that left-hand side is a little bit different.

"But, I'm pretty sure he's played on that right-hand side before and done brilliantly and I'm sure Joleon will fit in nicely on that left-hand side with JT."
