Chelsea captain John Terry insists the current squad is good enough to go round again next season.

Terry stated the case for retaining the core of Carlo Ancelotti's team and laughed off jibes that they are 'too old'.

He said: "We are confident in our own ability and have a lot of players in their prime.

"And they have got a lot of experience, which showed in the second half of the season."
