Chelsea captain John Terry expects their form to pick up as their big guns return.
Chelsea are also set to welcome back Michael Essien from suspension against Everton, the Ghana international has also shaken-off a toe problem, while Frank Lampard is targeting the top-of-the-table clash against Manchester United in a fortnight for his long-awaited return.
"By the looks of things we are getting two or three players back," said Terry. "I have trained the last couple of days and Frank is not too far away. Hopefully Michael will return at the weekend."
Terry's return is all the more welcome given Brazil defender Alex will out for up to eight weeks after keyhole surgery on his knee in his home country this week.
