Sampdoria are hoping to have a deal for Ternana striker Stefano Scappini rubberstamped.

Samp attempted to settle their co-ownership deal with Ternana over the weekend, but Lega authorities were still reviewing the case last night.

Scappini, 20, is expected to join Samp as an outright player this week.
