Former AC Milan coach Fatih Terim has backed the appointment of Clarence Seedorf. Terim is happy seeing Seedorf attempt to bring attacking football to the Rossoneri.
"Clarence Seedorf is doing well to think big, to look for an offensive style of play, to dream of six attacking players in the field," Terim told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"They criticised me when I was playing at the same time Contra, Serginho, Rui Costa, Inzaghi and Shevchenko. But it is Italian football not to imagine.
"When Milan sold Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva, they committed to a different project. One that is less ambitious.
"Now, Berlusconi and Galliani, as two men of football, have decided to start with a young Coach who has good ideas.
"But they must have patience and protect him. Seedorf must be granted the right to make mistakes."
