Terek Grozny want to continue their Chelsea link by moving for Nicolas Anelka.
Anelka is out of contract at Stamford Bridge in June and has been linked with moves to Turkey and America's MLS when his deal expires.
But now Terek are lining up a contract offer for the Frenchman and sources at the club insist that Anelka would not object to a move to Russia.
The club, who are ran by Chechnya's Kremlin-backed leader Ramzan Kadyrov, famously hired Ruud Gullit as manager but fired him after just six months because of poor results.
