Tension rises as Abramovich spends third consecutive day at Chelsea

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was again at the club's Cobham training ground yesterday.

The Daily Mail says the Russian spent Wednesday making more assessments at Chelsea’s Cobham training centre in Surrey and held further talks with director of football Michael Emenalo.

The Chelsea owner has changed the atmosphere at the training ground with his continuing presence and the players are convinced that manager Andre Villas-Boas is increasingly vulnerable.

Abramovich is spending more time working on the club after their failure to make an impact at the top of the Barclays Premier League this season. He is determined to change the culture at the club after Villas-Boas’s turbulent start to his managerial career in England.
