Ecuador international striker Carlos Tenorio is in the sights of Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce.
Tenorio, who scored twice for his country in their first World Cup finals and played against England, is quick and good in the air, and has a phenomenal goals record.
In 31 appearances for his country he has scored 10 times and has notched 95 goals in 166 games during his three-year stay in Qatar.
Now Bruce wants to team up Tenorio with winger Luis Antonio Valencia - just after landing Honduras midfielder Wilson Palacios. Tenorio is keen to come and the deal should be done shortly.
