Real Madrid are watching Tenerife goalkeeper Carlos Abad.

Real are in the market for a new, young keeper and 22 year-old Abad is in their sights.

Asked about Real's interest, Abad said: "I'm working to play, here or in the reserves.

"The important thing is not to give up and I just keep thinking about helping the team, which is the main thing. I would not be interested in talking about the future, I care only everyday and giving the maximum in every training session."
