Henk ten Cate remains in the mix for the Blackburn Rovers job.

The Guardian says Ten Cate agreed a two-year contract with Panathinaikos last week following his recent sacking as Chelsea's assistant manager. However, the former Ajax coach and assistant to Frank Rijkaard at Barcelona delayed signing a deal with the Greek club in the hope of speaking to Rovers chairman John Williams about the managerial vacancy at Blackburn.
