Ten Cate: Barcelona have people to 'help' Liverpool striker Luis Suarez

Dutch coach Henk ten Cate says Barcelona have the people to help transfer target Luis Suarez gain better control of his emotions.Liverpool and Barcelona are opening talks today over Suarez's sale in the aftermath of his World Cup biting controversy.

Ten Cate worked with Suarez at Ajax and told La Xarxa: "Luis needs real help, he just has a problem. He's not bad, he just cannot keep his emotions under control.

"His family might have to explain to him that some things really cannot happen and that there are other ways to express your emotions. Suárez loses his head too often, but this kind of thing cannot be tolerated."

Ten Cate was No2 to Frank Rijkaard at Barcelona and believes a move to the Nou Camp could be positive for the Uruguayan.

"I know someone in Barcelona, a psychologist called Imma Puig. She worked for the club when Rijkaard and I were there. They can help Suárez to get better. I'm not saying he should go to her, but she can help him.

"Luis is also a very good player who gives everything and has lots of character."
