Local teenager Conor Shanosky has joined MLS club DC United from George Mason University.

The 18-year old has been signed to a MLS homegrown contract, making him the third player DC has signed in that category, joining Bill Hamid and Andy Najar.

Shanosky will forego his college eligibility now and will also be ineligible to play in any official DC matches until next year.
