Corona del Mar High School star Jack McBean is expected to become one of the youngest players to sign a MLS contract.

The 15-year old is being courted by LA Galaxy and reports suggest the will soon sign a deal with the club.

According to his high school coach George Larsen, the Galaxy were putting the finishing touches on a contract offer for McBean which he is likely to accept.

"They were anticipating taking a week to two weeks to finalize all the details to the contract," Larsen told the Daily Pilot.

"It's a special moment for a kid, who is getting a special opportunity. He deserves that opportunity. I couldn't be prouder of him. We're all rooting for him. We're hoping to see him in that [Galaxy] jersey."
