Blue Square Bet North club Workington have signed young striker Jonathan Hooper on 'work experience' from Newcastle United, reports the official Football Conference website. Hooper, also known as `JJ`, has recently returned from Ebac Northern League First Division outfit Darlington 1883 where he was on similar terms.
The 19-year old striker was signed by Newcastle in August 2011 from Kent Hurlimann League side at Sevenoaks Town and made his reserve debut against Bolton in the same year.
