Stoke City have signed a pair of teenagers who graduated from Crewe Alexandra's Academy.
Matthew Lund and Ben Marshall, both 18, have signed two-year professional contracts with the Potters and are seen as investments for the future.
"Both players are good signings, but they are regarded as ones for the future," Stoke Academy manager Steve Holland told the club's official website.
"It is a pleasant surprise and a bonus to get them as it's usually very hard to sign players at their age."
