Birmingham City defender Olivier Tebily has left the club as a free agent after having the remainder of his contract paid up at St Andrews.
The former Celtic man would have been out of contract at the end of the season but the Midlands club have accelerated his departure so that he can find a new club in January.
The former Ivory Coast international leaves Birmingham in good heart though, and has thanked the club for his spell at St Andrews.
"I would like to thank the club, the staff and my team-mates, and of course the fans for the backing that I received during my time at Birmingham," Tebily told the club's official website.
"I really enjoyed my time at the club and I had some fantastic times during almost six years that I was here.
"But I have now reached a stage in my career where I felt it was time to move on."
