Alex Song believes the togetherness of the West Ham United squad is contributing to their early-season success.
The Hammers defeated reigning Premier League champions Manchester City 2-1 on Saturday to cement their spot in the top four and Cameroon midfielder Song, who is on loan from Barcelona, feels everyone at Upton Park is united for the same cause.
"The key to the win on Saturday was team spirit. We attack together, we defend together and at the moment we are playing great football," Song said.
"All the boys together are happy. We enjoy training together and that is why it is easier to play when you come to the pitch.
"Now we have to continue to improve game by game."
So far this season, Sam Allardyce's West Ham have won five and drawn one of their opening nine league matches to sit fourth on 16 points behind Man City, Southampton and Chelsea.
