Great Britain coach Stuart Pearce is set to move for Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

Lamps is out of the Euros with a thigh strain, but would be fit in time for the London Olympics.

Although Pearce will have to negotiate Lampard's release with Chelsea, there is nothing to prevent him from naming the midfielder in his swollen 35-man squad on June 8, says the Daily Mail.

Pearce, who can name three players over the age of 23, will then register an 18-man party, plus four stand-by players, for the tournament on July 6.
