A deal for the Italian could mean increased competition for Taylor, but he says: "It doesn't change much for me.
"I have had the same mind-set from last season. If I'm not playing well the manager will take me out, nothing has changed.
"If he brings in another left-back it does add to the competition and it's something I will be relishing. I'm still young and still learning. Depending on who is brought in, I could work off him.
"An experienced guy is going to help me along. The manager knows we all want to improve. Players who come in will only strengthen rather than weaken."
