Taylor urges Bolton pal Cahill to forget Arsenal, Newcastle talk
Matt Taylor has urged Bolton Wanderers teammate Gary Cahill to stay.
Cahill has been linked with Arsenal and Newcastle United in recent days and Taylor told the Bolton Evening News: “I’m not sure what ambitions he harbours but all I can say is he will play here.
“From a personal point of view I love playing football and maybe that will be a decision Gaz has to make if he moves somewhere else.
“He’s done fantastically well for us and if he’s being linked with other teams then that means he’s doing well and, ultimately, that’s what we want.
“But if he moves he might not play as much football as he does now.”
