Ian Taylor is urging Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph to become a first choice for England.
Former Villa favourite Taylor has challenged Delph to stake his claim for a permanent midfield starting place after impressing last week in Switzerland.
"I thought he was fantastic," said Taylor to the Express & Star. "In a pressure game he came in and did really well.
"There is plenty more to come from him.
He has got the chance now to stake his claim for a place."
