Taylor again in limbo at Newcastle

Steven Taylor is again in limbo at Newcastle United.

The People says the former England Under-21 skipper was told by his specialist that he would be missing for eight to 10 weeks after dislocating his shoulder in his comeback match at Carlisle United a fortnight ago.

Newcastle this week finally commented on Taylor's injury saying the defender would be sidelined for three months. One solution would be to loan Taylor out for November and December to prove his fitness.

Taylor would be mortified if this happens but a lot will depend on whether the club sign any more players.

What is complicating the situation is the fact that Taylor has not accepted the new contract the St James Park club have offered him.

His current deal expires at the end of the season.
