New FIGC president Carlo Tavecchio says talks are continuing with Antonio Conte over the Italy job.
The former Juventus coach is a favourite for the job.
"Any news on Conte? We are working on it," Tavecchio told news agency ANSA.
Italy need to find a new coach following the resignation of Cesare Prandelli after the World Cup.
