Jose Mourinho is determined to get his Manchester United squad as fit as possible for the start of the new Premier League season.
The Sun is reporting that the Portuguese tactician will give his players just five days off during August as he plans to have them rock-hard fit to kick off the campaign.
A leaked document from the club shows Mourinho also has the Red Devils taking part in weekly double training sessions, learning his lesson from being too lax with Chelsea last season, following their title win in 2014/15.
A Man Utd insider told The Sun: "Jose has been working the squad hard as he prepares for the season.
"He believes with the right preparation, he can bring back the glory days and the title to Old Trafford.
"Everything is meticulously planned, right down to the simplest of detail. Nothing is left to chance with him."
The Red Devils kick off the 2016/17 league season away to AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.
