Juventus legend Marco Tardelli has urged his former club to break the bank and sign Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, reports the Independent. The Italian side currently lead Serie A by six points, but are eager to sign a proven goal scorer in the summer.
"It's obvious that a striker who scores 20 goals a season would be a good addition for any team. Good players are not cheap, though," Tardelli told Tuttosport. "Suarez would be ideal due to his power, technique and directness."
The Italian concedes that buying the Liverpool striker may not be possible.
He said: "I'd say signing him could be a complicated matter. (Gonzalo) Higuain could be a more realistic option."
