World Cup winner Marco Tardelli has questioned Juventus' signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Tardelli feels Juve were wrong to sacrifice Gonzalo Higuain, now with AC Milan, for the former Real Madrid star.
He told L'Equipe: "If I am convinced by the choice Cristiano Ronaldo? In terms of business, it is a real feat on the part of Juve.
"The player, he is a very serious professional, the best in the world, but I am convinced that it was necessary to keep Gonzalo Higuain in view of the Champions League, even if there are some good people ahead.
"Now it's not easy, Juve has strengthened, but the other contenders for the C1 too."
