Republic of Ireland assistant coach Marco Tardelli says Shane Long needs to improve his finishing.
The West Bromwich Albion striker missed out on a move to Hull City on Monday.
Tardelli said: "I think Shane Long is very young and for me he is very good player, strong physically, good head, can play left or right.
"But I think he can improve his finishing. It is first thing he can improve. It is the priority."
