The success at Blackpool of Everton fullback Seamus Coleman has him on the Republic of Ireland's radar.
The Donegal man's development hasn't been missed by Republic of Ireland assistant coach Marco Tardelli.
The Italy legend has been closely monitoring Everton's attack-minded right back and said he could feature in manager Giovanni Trapattoni's next squad.
"Coleman, I know very well," Tardelli said.
"I knew him at Everton and then he went to Blackpool and he has played well, but we have good players in that area. Maybe in the next training camp we will see him."
