West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo has completed the permanent signing of defender Gabriel Tamas from French club Auxerre. The Romanian defender joined on loan in January from Auxerre during the Baggies' successful promotion campaign back to the Premier League.
Tamas played every single league game following his debut against Nottingham Forest, making 25 appearances and scoring two goals for Roberto Di Matteo's side.
The 26-year-old will become a permanent signing at The Hawthorns on 1st July, with the club agreeing an undisclosed fee with Auxerre.
