Safety authorities are pondering moving Leicester City's home game against Manchester United to Christmas Eve.

Sky want to broadcast the clash between Manchester United and Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on December 24 Christmas Eve.

But this would mean that the game will clash with Leicester Tigers' rugby encounter against Saracens on the same day.

There is a rule that Leicester City and Leicester Tigers cannot play at home on the same day due to safety concerns but nonetheless, Sky have approached the Foxes with the proposal and the club have held talks with the Leicestershire Police about the possibility of switching the game to Christmas Eve.
