Take two? Liverpool return to Lyon for Fekir talks

Liverpool have returned to the negotiating table with Lyon over midfielder Nabil Fekir.

The Mirror says Liverpool have resumed talks with Lyon for Fekir.

A £53million move for the playmaker fell apart at the start of June when Liverpool became concerned over issues in his medical.

But in the last few days negotiations have resumed with a belief that a compromise can be hammered out with Fekir finally becoming a Liverpool player once he has returned from Russia.

It's been revealed the deal was previously so close that Fekir had undertaken an unveiling interview with the club's in house television station LFC TV.

Liverpool officials attempted to re-negotiate the transfer inserting a number of clauses over concerns about a past knee injury.
