The agent of Marseille midfielder Taye Taiwo believes the Nigerian could make a move to Manchester City this month.

"For Marseille to say no is not just something to wave away just like that," Victor MacDonald told Brila FM. "It means they cannot just be speaking for saying's sake.

"They actually need Taiwo because he is a good player, but that is not to say they cannot be convinced to sell him.

"If Man City offer the right money, Marseille will sell.

"I am happy for Taye Taiwo, and it's a good opportunity for him to get a good transfer and make some good money in football."
