Teemu Tainio wants to stay with Tottenham and taste glory at Wembley in the Carling Cup final.

The Finn told the Spurs website: "I've never been to Wembley before so I'm very excited about playing there. It's great for all the team, the fans, and the Club as a whole.

"I'm a big Spurs fan so to beat Arsenal to get to Wembley is very special for me. I'm just so pleased that we've reached the final.

"I think we really wanted to do something special, and although they started very well, I knew we were going to win as soon as we scored the first goal.

"It doesn't matter to me who we play in the final. It's going to be a tough game whoever we play but I'll be watching the other semi-final with interest."
