Tottenham legend Paul Gascoigne will continue talks with Garforth Town.
The Daily Express says Gascoigne is set for further talks about a return to football as manager of Garforth Town with club owner Simon Clifford today.
Already the snares are being set for former England star Gascoigne by downmarket news hacks who have contacted players at the club with offers of money for tales from the dressing room, should he arrive in West Yorkshire.
Having believed that he had got his man, Clifford has been surprised by Gascoigne's agent, Keith McStea, applying the brakes.
However, if a deal is eventually struck, they have the perfect place to celebrate. A mile from the ground, up the A642, is a pub called...Gascoigne's.
