Taarabt wants out of Tottenham
Submitted by Anonymous on Thu, 11/05/2009 - 16:53
Adel Taarabt has confirmed a lack of first team action has decided him to seek a move from Tottenham.
The Moroccan playmaker is currently on loan with QPR again and is lighting up the Championship with a number of spectacular goals.
"Tottenham would like me to sign a new deal with them but, frankly, I don't fancy going back there now," he told the Evening Gazette.
"I've got two-and-a-half years left with them, but I hope to leave soon."

It would be a crying shame if Taarabt left Spurs. he is everything a Spurs player should be. Talented .tricky and scores goals. This is yet another example of Spurs buying when young talent is available in the ranks.
We boast of all the young players we have in the international under-19 and 23 squads but how manty ever get to play for the first team.
Bostock, Rose, Archibald-Derville, Barnard. Naughton .... the list is endless. While I am obviously not an Arsenal supporter I have to admire Wenger for his use of young talent. Get with it Spurs, the future is with our young gifted players, not overpaid mercenaries. Give Taarabt a game adn hopefully persuade him to stay. similarly, Giovanni dos Santos.
Harry,
Whatever you do, don't let Taarabt & Dos Santos go.
They are 2 of the most gifted youngsters we got.
How Jenas & Bentley are not as good as them !!!
Realspuz,
You are soooo right. I am sick of watching our great young talent just not get a go. We buy players that are established and hope to win straight away. We have had Taarabt and Dos Santos now for some time and the first team time between them in the PL would be just ridiculous. I dont understand why we bought Niko (although a good player) when we had both of these young blokes. Why are we still looking for backs when we have them. Is this an indication that our coaching staff just do not have the time or ability to bring them through. Pisses me off actually and I am really getting sick of our young talent go elsewhere. As far as the other idiots making comment here, yours was the only one worth reading. I wonder if T'rrific reads these sites. Would love to hear yours and others thoughts
