Taarabt slams Spurs experience: I should have joined Arsenal
Adel Taarabt admits he regrets joining Tottenham and should have signed for Arsenal instead.
Taarabt is currently on-loan at QPR.
He told the London Evening Standard: "I was going to go to Arsenal and Comolli was there with [Arsene] Wenger.
"But he went to Tottenham so I went there. That was a big mistake for me. My friends in England - like Armand Traore and Abou Diaby at Arsenal - told me Tottenham were not the right fit for me.
"The big mistake was to sign for Tottenham and not go to another club when I first came over."
Taarabt, 20, also slammed English football for the prominence of physical, long-ball teams, saying the style of play in the Premier League is not to his liking and he would prefer to forge a career in the more skillful Spanish top flight.
"England is not for me, I think La Liga is the best league for me," he continued.
"[I don't like] how they play in England, I like to play football. I look at teams like Bolton, Stoke or Wolves and say: 'There is just no point for me'. I hate that style of football."

For the past 2 years i've wondered why we have wasted the talents of adel.
Now i know the answer.
It's his filthy attitude & lack of team spirit that has let him down.
There's no place in any team for an attitude like yours Adel.
Pity, because us Spurs fans have rooted for you to be given a chance ever since you came on against West-Spam & changed the game that we eventually won 4-3 at Upton-Park...
